DR. DANIELLE BENOSA

DANIELLE BENOSA, O.D.

Dr. Benosa attended San Francisco State University as a presidential scholar and earned a bachelor's degree in biology with concentration in physiology. She went on to receive her doctorate in optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. During optometry school, she served as secretary of her class for three years and Vice President of the honors fraternity Beta Sigma Kappa and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Dr. Benosa completed externships at Hoopes Vision in Utah, Veterans Affairs Sierra Vista Community Based Outpatient Clinic, and the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.


After optometry school, Dr. Benosa furthered her education with a one year residency in Ocular Disease at the Braverman Eye Center in Florida. There she managed ocular disease, managed soft and rigid gas permeable contact lens fittings, and participated in refractive surgery co-management.


When not engaged in patient care, Dr. Benosa enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures and foods as well as going to the gym.
