DR. JING (SASHA) JIA

Jing (Sasha) Jia, M.D

Dr. Jing (Sasha) Jia, M.D. is a refractive cataract surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist. She specializes in cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, pterygium surgery, dry eyes, and screening for macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.

She attended Washington University in St. Louis for college and graduated with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in healthcare management. Following college, she attended Temple University for medical school and completed a glaucoma research fellowship year at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital. She published key studies in numerous prestigious ophthalmology journals and presented at national and international conferences. 



Dr. Jia completed her ophthalmology training at New York Medical College with the Westchester Medical Center and Metropolitan Hospital in the NYC metropolitan area. She is board eligible and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. 

Dr. Jia is excited to join Helm Vision Group and looks forward to providing compassionate, highest quality care for each patient. Outside of taking care of patients, she enjoys dancing, surfing, and traveling the world.
