Dr. Pelin Celiker, MD

Dr. Pelin Celiker is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, eyelid surgery, dry eye management, as well as the screening and treatment of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. She is committed to helping patients preserve and restore their vision through compassionate, individualized care and believes every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and confident in their treatment decisions.

Dr. Celiker first earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, with a minor in Economics, from Columbia University. She then went on to earn her medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate College of Medicine, where she was honored with the SUNY Chancellor's Award and graduated with Distinction in Research. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Davis, where she received comprehensive medical and surgical training in ophthalmology. Throughout her training, she remained actively involved in research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications and presenting her work at national and international ophthalmology conferences.

Dr. Celiker enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and believes that educating patients about their eye health is an essential part of delivering exceptional care. Her engineering background continues to influence the way she practices medicine, fostering a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to diagnosis, surgical planning, and patient care. Her goal is to help every patient preserve their vision and improve their quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Celiker enjoys traveling, scuba diving, hot yoga, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in both English and Turkish and is honored to serve the Santa Clarita community as part of Helm Vision Group.
