DR. LISA M. GUAN

LISA M. GUAN, O.D.

Dr. Lisa Guan is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for excellence in patient care. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology with honors from UCLA. She then continued her journey at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated with honors as a distinguished member of the optometric honor society Beta Sigma Kappa. Her diverse externship rotations gave her invaluable experience with pediatric patients at the Perkins School for the Blind, as well as clinical experience in private practice in Beverly Hills and in community health centers around Boston. Dr. Guan's commitment to advancing her expertise led her to complete a rigorous residency specializing in ocular disease at the optometry department of the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.

Dr. Guan brings a wealth of knowledge to her patient's visual needs in every comprehensive eye exam. She offers expert diagnosis and treatment of ocular conditions including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and macular degeneration. With her many years of clinical experience and the advanced technology available at Helm Vision Group, she is able to provide the highest level care in specialty contact lenses for irregular corneas, myopia control for children, as well as dry eye treatment. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Guan finds joy in exploring nature through hiking and visiting botanical gardens. She also loves spending time with her husband and two children.
